Designer Neri Oxman's studio Oxman has developed a conceptual skyscraper incorporating multiple planted platforms, using an "ecological programming" system to promote green architecture.
The building, called Eden Tower, was produced in the studio's recently opened Foster + Partners-designed lab in Manhattan.
This week's newsletter also featured a potential alternative structure floor material created by US researchers alongside SHoP Architects, a holiday home in Sweden by Johan Sundberg Arkitektur and an apartment renovation in Paris by French architect Joris Poggioli.
