Seabrook Studio extends Lexus design language with truck study

Seabrook Studio’s Lexus EX Concept envisions a Lexus truck design, introducing a body style new to the brand. Designed as a conceptual study, the project emphasizes proportion, surface, and adaptability while extending Lexus design language into off-road territory.

The EX Concept reinterprets the familiar elements of Lexus design with restraint. The spindle grille evolves into a more geometric expression, paired with smooth surfaces and minimal detailing. Traditional headlights and heavy accents are replaced by sharp geometry, giving the vehicle a precise and forward-looking identity. The silhouette is defined by clean lines, sculpted curves, and a wide, elevated stance intended for varied terrain. At the rear, a full-width light bar establishes a distinct signature element across the body. Inside, the two-seat cabin is designed with flexibility, leaving space for luggage or gear. The platform allows for future variations, including the potential for extended cabins or additional doors. The overall structure emphasizes strength and adaptability, supporting both urban and off-road use.

Balancing elegance and durability in Lexus EX Concept truck

The EX Concept originated as the studio’s exploration into design, 3D modeling, and visualization. The project was developed entirely through digital tools, including Blender and Photoshop, allowing the designers to transition from sketches to high-fidelity renderings while maintaining consistency in form and detail. The process demonstrates an approach where experimental design can be carried into production-ready visualization.

By combining refined surfaces with functional proportions, the Lexus EX Concept by Seabrook Studio positions itself as a study in how Lexus design principles could translate into a new vehicle category, balancing elegance with durability.
