ONDU WONDERLAND COLLECTION by Gliese Design

Multidisciplinary designer Mustafa Başaran and his studio Gliese Design introduce the Ondu Wonderland Collection. Sourced from the studio’s broader material research into natural balance and geometric proportions, the collection comprises 3D printed table lamps, vases, and candle holders manufactured using sustainable biopolymers. Through additive manufacturing methods and additive layering, the series pairs computational precision with organic profiles, translating narrative themes into functional domestic objects designed to introduce balanced, low-impact materiality into contemporary living spaces.

WHERE DIGITAL FABRICATION MEETS SURREALISM

The Ondu Wonderland Collection draws directly from the playful surrealism of Lewis Carroll, translating the ‘logical nonsense’ of Alice’s world into contemporary objects. Each piece features signature ruffled forms that echo the theatrical collars of the Victorian era, paired with precise checkerboard bases inspired by the timeless geometry of a chessboard.

Comprising a table lamp, a vase, and a candle holder, the collection merges the cold precision of digital 3D printing with the warmth of narrative design. Printed using eco-friendly PLA derived from corn starch and recycled food packaging, alongside post-consumer PETG, the series proves that high-tech manufacturing and environmental mindfulness can coexist seamlessly. More than just functional items, the Ondu Wonderland Collection by Gliese Design Studio acts as a storyteller in the interior space—inviting quiet curiosity and revealing new details with every glance.
