The collection reflects the long-standing creative synergy between architect Ramón Esteve and the brand, utilizing rotational molding to craft each piece as a continuous shape with no visible joints. True to Esteve’s signature focus on clean lines, balanced proportions, and minimalist forms, this structural clarity recalls the low seating of the 1970s, pairing rounded corners dressed with ultra-soft upholstery to reinforce the collection’s distinctive character while naturally curating immersive outdoor atmospheres.

‘From the start, we conceived Mel as a single form. We didn’t want a fragmented structure, but rather a continuous body—free of visible joints—where rotational molding technology would allow us to express that sense of fluidity. The material had to reinforce the clarity of the form. That is why we sought a continuous, unadorned structure where form, function, and manufacturing became one,’ Vondom declares.

Constructed from a monolithic polyethylene body, the collection is available in matte or lacquered finishes across a diverse color palette. These robust structures are engineered to withstand demanding environments, offering full impermeability alongside high-quality, impact-resistant rigidity. The material features an advanced UV8 factor equivalent to 8,000 hours of Florida sunlight, ensuring total color preservation and structural integrity under extreme temperatures.

Upholstery takes center stage in the collection, adding texture, warmth, and refined comfort to the solid frames. Integrating seamlessly with the polyethylene base, the fabric cushions elevate the overall perception of quality.
