Speaker sculpted from stone among products unveiled at Milan design week

Dezeen Showroom: in the wake of Milan design week 2026, we look at seven surfaces and products from Dezeen Showroom that debuted during this year's event.

Taking place from 20 to 24 April, the event saw installations, open showrooms and parties at various venues throughout the city.

Mystone Tivoli tiles by Marazzi

Classical Roman stone is referenced in these creamy, dappled tiles by Italian tile manufacturer Marazzi.

Mystone Tivoli tiles come in three colours as well as two decorative tile designs – linear Vesta and mosaic-like Tratti.

Soft Stone sofa by Gabriel Tan for ClassiCon

Monolithic blocks form this sofa by German design brand ClassiCon and Singaporean designer Gabriel Tan.

Tan drew on Portuguese urban architecture and American sculpture when designing the Soft Stone sofa.

Reloaded ceramic surfaces by Diesel and Iris Ceramica

Italian tile manufacturer Iris Ceramica collaborated with clothing brand Diesel on a collection of surfaces united by their edgy aesthetic.

Alongside an intentionally distressed rug, Reloaded ceramic surfaces include Acid Majolica, a version of a traditional Portuguese majolica tile made to look distorted and warped.

Macaron modular sofa by Bert Plantagie and Mecanoo

Macaron is a modular seating system by Dutch design brand Bert Plantagie and architecture studio Mecanoo.

It is named after and designed to reference the eponymous French confectionery, characterised by rounded forms and scalloped edges.

Plissé sofa by Bertrand Lejoli for Paola Lenti

Furniture brand Paola Lenti collaborated with Antwerp-based industrial design practice Bertrand Lejoli on an outdoor sofa with distinctively wrapped sides.

The Plissé sofa's matte or glossy stainless steel frame is wrapped in weatherproof fabric and topped with thick cushions that have removable covers.

Beosound Haven speaker by Bang & Olufsen and Antolini

Quartzite from Italian stone brand Antolini was conjoined with a spherical speaker by Bang & Olufsen to create a distinctively statuesque speaker.

The Beosound Haven speaker comes in floor-standing and wall-mounted versions, both of which can be used outdoors.

Kipu Club outdoor chair by Anderssen & Voll for Lapalma

Italian brand Lapalma worked with design studio Anderssen & Voll on an evolution of its Kipu Club chair, which can withstand the elements.

The tub-shaped Kipu Club outdoor chair is made from marine plywood, UV-stable outdoor fabric and the option to add water-resistant covers for further durability.
